A new outfit in the fall 2020 collection, though to be frank, this outfit should be on its own.
Inspired by Charles James beautiful dress, I recreated the look for 16" fashion dolls.
The dress is tight fit bodice with bustier like neckline.
The bodice is made of cherry red silk dupioni. The lining is made of gold silk dupioni.
The dress closes with a zipper and a hook in the back.
The bodice is very tight fitting and will fit most 16" dolls.
The bottom part is made of gold lame fabric, pleated and attached to the bodice.
Under that there are six layers of gold color tulle shirred and attached to the lining bodice which has two layers of red tulle shirred.
So, in short there is a lot of tulle under the gold skirt to give it fullness.
On top of the dress there is a drape of the same red silk as the bodice, the drape cascades down the front and is gathered in the back along the zipper line and below. The drape is attached to the dress.
The jewelry is made by me and consists of a necklace and a pair of gold tassel earrings.
The outfit comes with red shoes and the tulle that I use for the shoot.
Doll is not included.
